Xhastin's Healing Journey
Xhastin, a proud member of the Taku River Tlingit First Nation, has crafted a remarkable healing space drawing upon her profound journey as a First Nations woman and a survivor of residential school. With extensive expertise in Traditional Medicines, First Nations Health, and as a Certified First Nations Doula, Xhastin's work is rooted in a wealth of knowledge and experience. Our objective was to create a serene and minimalist website that authentically reflects Xhastin's land-based approach to healing in her practice. Together, we embarked on a transformative journey to showcase her vision and years of dedicated work in social services.
Challenge
Xhastin has successfully operated her business through word of mouth and referrals for the past 7 years. As her business grew, so did the need for an online presence. Unfortunately, her previous website was developed by a company that went out of business, leaving her without access to her site. Therefore, the main objective of this project was to provide her with a solution that would grant her control over her website.
