Kat Gottlieb
Kat is a multi-faceted and brilliant artist, who sells a variety of goods aimed at helping you manfinest your life the way you envisioned it, and to inspire you on a daily basis! Kat was looking to update her Wix website, move operations to Shopify and find ways of centralizing her business on the platform. She had a very specific look and feel for the site, that would showcase her art and tell her story in the way she wanted.
The main challenge of the project was to ensure that Kat's art is represented well in all sections of the site. Due to the nature of responsive development & Shopify limitations we had to make adjustments and changes as we built along. Main project goals:
- Showcase Kat Gottlieb Art, ensuring responsive design is a priority
- Set up collections and shop
- Build custom newsletter signup showcasing art
- Design blog sections to entice customers to explore the pages for inspiration
Kat & I worked collaboratively to achieve the look and feel of her site. She, as the principal designer of her brand, provided a ton of creative direction from her end, which then was refined and iterated upon throughout our regular feedback sessions. Despite some challenges that we experienced along the way with responsive design, we've been able to create the site that she had envisioned! A brief summary:
